​Designed with passionate book lovers in mind, this fantasy-inspired bookmark brings a touch of magic to your reading routine.

​The creation process is a blend of two worlds: it started with a traditional watercolor painting on paper to capture the soft, organic textures. After scanning the piece into my computer, I continued the work on my drawing tablet painting digitally to enhance the shadows and add the vibrant, glowing light effects.

​The artwork explores the balance between hardship and hope. While the dark, ink-like smoke represents threatening darkness, the golden stardust melting across the figure's face symbolizes resilience and light.

​To bring this cosmic theme to life, the artwork is printed on heavy, high-quality 300–330 gsm pearlescent shimmer paper. After scanning the piece into my computer, I continued the work on my drawing tablet painting digitally to enhance the shadows and add a vibrant, metallic gold effect that makes the moon look incredibly realistic.

​The artwork is inspired by the real-world science of the atmosphere. When the moon hangs low on the horizon, the earth's atmosphere scatters the blue light, transforming the lunar surface into a glowing, honey-colored orb of liquid gold.
