How it all started

From Childhood Play to International Reach

My artistic journey is a story of perseverance, adaptation, and the deep joy of creation. Since childhood, creative play has been a constant thread in my life, leading me to formal studies in drawing, form, and color in high school. It was during this time that painting truly became an essential part of my artistic expression.

Turning Point and Rediscovery

After a few years in the workforce, health challenges in 2016 marked a significant turning point in my life. Despite its difficulties, this period gave me a valuable opportunity to return to what had always brought me joy and meaning—art and creativity.

Before this shift, I also had a passion for DIY projects and woodworking. At home, I had a dedicated hobby room where I created unique pieces, from repurposed retro furniture to nature-inspired projects. For a time, I focused on crafting furniture from raw materials, which led to several customer orders. Unfortunately, my health eventually made these physically demanding projects impossible.

Watercolor, Commissions, and Markets

As a natural next step, I returned to watercolor painting, which I had explored during my studies. This became a crucial foundation for rediscovering and developing my artistic practice. As I painted more actively, friends and family began requesting personal commissions—paintings, bookmarks, postcards, and drawings. This recognition gave me a significant boost in motivation and confidence.

Soon, I started printing some of my works, initially as postcards and similar products. Participating in my first Christmas market, followed by autumn and summer events, helped more people discover my art. This phase has been incredibly rewarding and inspiring.

Digital Presence and International Inspiration

A key milestone in my artistic journey was discovering social media as a platform to share and promote my work. Through channels like Instagram, I was able to reach a much larger audience. This digital presence has not only been a marketing tool but has also allowed me to connect with other artists and reach new customers I would never have met otherwise.

As I connected with people worldwide, my artistic practice expanded and became more international. My inspiration grew further when I started receiving commissions from these international contacts. This also led me to take on requests for pieces inspired by the film world, such as Marvel and Star Wars.

This evolution has broadened my style, and I now feel free to explore a wider range of subjects. I have gained a deeper understanding of both the light and dark aspects of my creativity, enjoying the contrast between creating atmospheric, moody pieces and bright, playful ones. Social media has become a vital source of inspiration and community.

Art as a Driving Force Despite Challenges

Throughout this artistic journey, I have also struggled with chronic back pain. Although the pain is a daily reality, art has continuously motivated me to keep drawing and painting. My passion for creation has been a powerful driving force, even when I navigate life with constant discomfort.
